INSIDER’s GUIDE: montgomery county map
MoCo360 releases an annual Insider’s Guide magazine which is an essential resource for people living and working in the Montgomery County area. Artist illustrated over 20+ icons that appear on the cover as well as in the main inner spread.
Artist was tasked to illustrate and design a map that is representational of Montgomery County and its key landmarks. Artist created 30+ individual icons to be used throughout the map design. Goal was to acheive map that expressed the vibrant, diverse, and enthusiastic community of the county. Artist developed simplified imagery that were recognizable to the location that produced a lively map!
During inital stages, artist provided a set color palette alongside examples of how the icons would be illustrated on the map.
Each illustartion is matched with the corresponding landmark of Montgomery County, totaling 26 icons.
